BOER GOAT PRODUCTION AUCTION RESULTS

Agra successfully hosted the Boer goat production auction of Gert van Wyk, Stollie van Niekerk, Dirk and Dawid Louw, Pieter Joubert and Stephan Botes on Friday, 24 February 2017 at the Agra/Bank Windhoek Ring in Windhoek.

All animals on offer were of high quality, tested and presented with detailed records of performance testing and breeding values. The highest price paid for a boer goat ram was N$ 23,000, while the top
boer goat ewe was bought for N$ 10,000. The average price achieved was N$ 8,167.
