The 2025 Agra Weaner Championship Series concluded last night with a gala celebration honouring Namibia’s top weaner producers, partners, and agricultural stakeholders. This flagship series, spanning 14 locations, covering over 9,410 km, and showcasing 9,312 weaners, continues to play a pivotal role in advancing Namibia’s livestock industry and rewarding production excellence.

In total, 132 prizes were awarded throughout the series, reaffirming Agra’s commitment to strengthening and recognising the country’s agricultural producers.

During the gala, Agra’s Chief Executive Officer commended the resilience, dedication, and excellence demonstrated across the country this season.

“This platform exists to uplift and reward the producers who continue to strengthen Namibia’s agricultural sector. When our farmers succeed, Namibia succeeds. This year’s winners once again raised the bar for quality and production excellence,” the CEO said.

He further expressed appreciation to all stakeholders who contribute to the success of the series, highlighting the spirit of collaboration within Namibia’s agricultural value chain.

“Tonight is about celebrating those who remind us what commitment to quality looks like. We are proud of every farmer who entered, every partner who supported us, and every team member who stood behind this initiative.”
